Founded in 2002, Spectrum Care Ltd started out as a host for suppliers, but we’ve since broadened our base and now offer information, support and networking opportunities for those in the care industry.
As a buying consortium, we’re committed to providing an excellent service for our members, with full respect, trust, integrity and transparency. Our aim is to connect members and suppliers, providing savings without compromising on quality.
We operate with loyalty, fairness and equitability, using valued, trusted and experienced negotiators to meet today’s care requirements.
Here at Spectrum Care Ltd, we recognise the vital role charities play in UK society and, as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, we’re proud to support various charity organisations that alleviate poverty and improve quality of life.
Each of our board members is a care home owner; they came together with a vision and created an accessible hub for members and suppliers to forge mutually beneficial relationships.

Chairman
Arif, the owner and managing director at Halcyon Care Group, has worked in the care industry for more than twenty-five years. He’s been Chairman at Spectrum Care Ltd for over 15 years, bringing to the table a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Sahinaz Nasser Virani
Director
Sahinaz, a care home owner and professional, has been a Spectrum Care Ltd director since 2003. She’s also a director for a property company, with over 15 years of valuable experience in the care industry.

Zahid Y Datoo
Non-executive Director
Zahid is the owner and managing director at Numada Healthcare and has over fifteen years of experience in the care industry. He has been a director since 2006 and holds other directorships in the care and property industry.

Shaleeza Hasham
Director
Shaleeza, who runs a family-owned care home, CHD Living, joined the board of directors in 2021. With a vision to revolutionise the perception of social care, Shaleeza is bringing more than 10 years of industry experience to the table. She also fronts the charity, Adopt a Grandparent, in a bid to reduce loneliness amongst the older generation.

Amin Thobani
Director
Amin Thobani is the owner of Mary's Home in Croydon and has extensive knowledge of the care industry. He joined as a trainee Director in September 2022 and has become a full time Director as of September 2023. Amin brings 7 years of industry experience and continues to grow both as a Director of Spectrum and within his own care home business.

Rishad Datoo is a Director of Numada Health Care in Hampshire and has extensive knowledge of the care industry. He joined as a trainee Director in April 2023 and has become a full time Director as of September 2023. Rishad brings more than 10 years of industry experience.

Altaf is a care home owner and operator with over fifteen years of experience in the care industry. He holds an MBA and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Purchasing & Supply, with significant experience in global procurement, supply chain management, logistics and project management.

Business Development Manager
Gary’s role sees him assisting with membership relations. Working as a field representative, Gary ensures our members are taking advantage of the deals available. With an extensive background in the sector, Gary has a strong understanding of the necessity of building strong relationships whilst offering quality service.
